  1. Remove

    Remove SGI IRIX object server program from your environment.

    Uninstall or remove the SGI IRIX object server program from systems where it is not required; remove related binaries and disable any startup entries that launch the service.

  2. Configuration

    Stop and disable the SGI IRIX object server program/service on affected systems (IRIX 5.2 through 6.1) if it is not required, to prevent remote exploitation.
