CVE-2015-4167: Integer Overflow
Last updated 24 July 2024
Other sources
Linux kernel built with the UDF file system(CONFIGUDFFS) support is vulnerable to a crash. It could occur while fetching inode information from a corrupted/malicious udf file system image.
An unprivileged user could use this flaw to crash the kernel resulting in DoS.

— Red Hat
The udfreadinode function in fs/udf/inode.c in the Linux kernel before 3.19.1 does not validate certain length values, which allows local users to cause a denial of service (incorrect data representation or integer overflow, and OOPS) via a crafted UDF filesystem.
