On F5 BIG-IP 14.0.0, 13.0.0-13.1.0, 12.1.0-12.1.3, or 11.5.1-11.6.3 specifically crafted HTTP responses, when processed by a Virtual Server with an associated QoE profile that has Video enabled, may cause TMM to incorrectly buffer response data causing the TMM to restart resulting in a Denial of Service.

CVE-2018-5535 has been assigned a severity rating that may affect the availability of the F5 BIG-IP system due to potential Denial of Service.
To fix CVE-2018-5535, update your F5 BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager or associated modules to the latest patched version provided by F5 Networks.
CVE-2018-5535 affects F5 BIG-IP versions 14.0.0, 13.0.0-13.1.0, 12.1.0-12.1.3, and 11.5.1-11.6.3.
The potential impact of CVE-2018-5535 is a Denial of Service due to TMM incorrectly processing specially crafted HTTP responses.
While F5 recommends updating to a fixed version, another potential workaround is to disable the Video QoE feature on affected Virtual Servers.
