Updated

An unspecified vulnerability in Java SE related to the JSSE component could allow an unauthenticated attacker to obtain sensitive information resulting in a low confidentiality impact using unknown attack vectors.

Other sources

It was discovered that the TLS implementation in the JSSE component of OpenJDK used non-constant comparisons when checking various data (such as session identifiers or verification data blocks) during TLS handshakes. A malicious TLS client could possibly use this flaw to recover that data by observing timing differences in processing of various inputs.

Red Hat

Vulnerability in the Java SE, Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition product of Oracle Java SE (component: JSSE). Supported versions that are affected are Java SE: 7u311, 8u301, 11.0.12, 17; Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition: 20.3.3 and 21.2.0.
