CVE-2024-1160: Bold Page Builder <= 4.8.0 - Authenticated (Contributor+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Icon Link

Published Feb 13, 2024
·
Updated

The Bold Page Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's Icon Link in all versions up to, and including, 4.8.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. CVE-2024-30442 is likely a duplicate of this issue.
