CVE-2024-2838: WPC Composite Products for WooCommerce <= 7.2.7 - Authenticated (Subscriber+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting
The WPC Composite Products for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'woococomponents[0][name]' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 7.2.7 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping and missing authorization on the ajaxsavecomponents function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
