CVE-2026-102279: Laravel: XSS in Debug Page Information
Laravel is a web application framework. Prior to 12.69.0 and 13.30.0, Laravel exception debug pages with APPDEBUG=true pass attacker-controlled input to a Tippy.js tooltip configured with allowHTML true, enabling DOM-based cross-site scripting when a user hovers over the tooltip. This issue is fixed in versions 12.69.0 and 13.30.0.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which deployments are exposed?
Deployments running Laravel versions earlier than 12.69.0 or 13.30.0 are exposed only when exception debug pages are enabled with APP_DEBUG=true.
What must happen for exploitation?
An attacker must be able to supply input that reaches the exception debug page, and a user must hover over the affected Tippy.js tooltip. The issue is DOM-based cross-site scripting and does not require attacker authentication.
What should be done if upgrading cannot happen immediately?
Disable exception debug pages by setting APP_DEBUG=false until Laravel can be updated. This removes the stated affected condition.
How can I determine whether the issue is remediated?
Verify that APP_DEBUG is not enabled in the deployment, or upgrade to Laravel 12.69.0 or later in the 12.x line, or 13.30.0 or later in the 13.x line.
