CVE-2026-104812: Redux Framework <= 4.5.16 - Authenticated (Subscriber+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'multi_media' Field Array Key
The Redux Framework plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'multimedia' Field Array Key in all versions due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The wpksespost sanitization applied at save time operates only on array leaf values, leaving array keys entirely unsanitized; the injected key is then rendered directly into an id="filelist-<KEY>" HTML attribute without escattr() in ReduxMultiMedia::render(), allowing attribute breakout.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which users can exploit this issue?
An attacker needs an authenticated WordPress account with at least Subscriber-level access. No user interaction from the attacker is required.
When does the injected code execute?
The attacker can store a crafted value that executes arbitrary web script when another user accesses the affected injected page. The vulnerable rendering path places an unsanitized array key into an HTML id attribute.
