CVE-2026-107754: GeoDirectory <= 2.8.190 - Authenticated (Subscriber+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Image Title
The GeoDirectory – WP Business Directory Plugin and Classified Listings Directory plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'postimages (fileinfo[2] = title)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.8.190 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who can exploit this issue?
An attacker needs an authenticated WordPress account with Subscriber-level access or higher. They can inject script through the image title field in the post_images parameter.
When does the injected script run, and who is exposed?
The script executes when a user accesses a page containing the attacker-injected content. This can affect any user who visits that page, including more privileged WordPress users.
Are installations affected by default?
Affected versions are all GeoDirectory versions through 2.8.190. Exploitation additionally requires that an attacker can authenticate with at least Subscriber-level access and submit a crafted image title.
How can I check for possible exploitation?
Review GeoDirectory content and image-title values associated with submitted listings or posts for unexpected script-like markup. Focus on content created by lower-privileged authenticated accounts.
