Frequently Asked Questions
Which devices are in scope?
The affected products are TRENDnet TEW-751DR, TEW-752DRU, and TEW733GR routers, with versions 1.03B01 and 1.03B03 identified in the vulnerability information.
Can an attacker exploit this without credentials or local access?
Yes. The supplied severity vector indicates network-reachable exploitation with low attack complexity, no privileges, and no user interaction required.
Is there a vendor-supported fix available?
No fix is identified. TRENDnet states these routers reached end of life in 2011 and that it cannot test whether the issue exists; the vulnerability affects only products no longer supported by the maintainer.
How urgent is mitigation?
Treat exposed affected devices as critical risk: the issue permits OS command injection through the web-management backend, remote exploitation is possible, and a public exploit is available.
