CVE-2026-111318: HT Mega Addons for Elementor <= 3.2.7 - Unauthenticated Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via Tabs Widget href DOM Sink
The HT Mega Addons for Elementor – Elementor Widgets & Template Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'href attribute of <a> inside .htmega-tab-nav' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.2.7 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Successful exploitation requires a co-installed plugin such as wpDiscuz with its rich editor enabled whose markup allowlist permits span[class] and a[href] storage, an HT Mega Tabs widget present on the same page as the comment section, and a victim user click on the injected anchor link.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which sites are realistically exposed to exploitation?
Exposure requires HT Mega Addons for Elementor version 3.2.7 or earlier, an HT Mega Tabs widget on a page that also has a comment section, and a co-installed plugin such as wpDiscuz with its rich editor enabled. The other plugin’s markup allowlist must permit storage of span[class] and a[href] markup.
What must an attacker and victim do for the injected script to execute?
An unauthenticated attacker must be able to submit crafted markup through the qualifying rich-text comment capability. A user must then access the affected page and click the injected anchor link; the issue is not triggered merely by viewing the page.
How can I determine whether my site has the affected conditions?
Check whether HT Mega Addons for Elementor is at version 3.2.7 or earlier. Then identify pages that combine an HT Mega Tabs widget with a comment section, and verify whether a rich-editor-enabled plugin permits span[class] and a[href] markup to be stored in comments.
