CVE-2026-112350: Sunhillo SureLine Path Traversal via radarUpdater.cgi
Sunhillo SureLine before 9.1.5 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the radarUpdater.cgi endpoint that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to read arbitrary files with root privileges due to missing authentication checks and insufficient sanitization of the filename parameter. Attackers can use directory traversal sequences to access sensitive files such as /etc/shadow, the web user database, the root SSH private key, and the device's TLS private key, leading to full system compromise.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which deployments are affected?
Sunhillo SureLine versions before 9.1.5 are affected. The vulnerable radarUpdater.cgi endpoint is remotely reachable, so systems exposed to untrusted networks are at particular risk.
What does an attacker need to exploit this issue?
An attacker does not need authentication, privileges, or user interaction. They can submit directory traversal sequences through the filename parameter to read files outside the intended path.
What information could be exposed?
The issue can expose arbitrary files with root privileges, including /etc/shadow, the web user database, the root SSH private key, and the device TLS private key. Disclosure of these files can lead to full system compromise.
How can I determine whether a system is affected?
Verify the installed Sunhillo SureLine version. Versions earlier than 9.1.5 are affected according to the available information.
