CVE-2026-115970: Travisun Opptrix Import Endpoint import code injection

Published Oct 24, 2026
·
Updated

A vulnerability has been found in Travisun Opptrix 0.4.0. This impacts an unknown function of the file /api/system-update/import of the component Import Endpoint. Such manipulation leads to code injection. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The project has been completely taken offline and deprecated. The project maintainer explains: "The mentioned security risk was a design flaw that manifested primarily in local environments during earlier stages of version development. We previously addressed and resolved this specific risk; however, because the project was restricted to a small learning scope and the main versions were intended to run exclusively on localhost, the security fix was only pushed directly to our GitHub repository before it went private." This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer.

Frequently Asked Questions

1

Which deployments are most likely to be exposed?

The maintainer states that the main versions were intended to run exclusively on localhost, and the flaw primarily manifested in local environments during earlier development. Any instance reachable remotely should be treated as exposed because the affected import endpoint can be attacked over the network.

2

Does exploitation require authentication or user interaction?

No authentication or user interaction is indicated by the supplied vector: PR:N and UI:N. The attack complexity is rated low, and a public exploit has been disclosed.

3

What should teams do if they cannot apply a fix?

The project is deprecated, offline, and unsupported, so no maintained vendor fix is available. Restrict access to the application, especially the /api/system-update/import endpoint, to localhost or otherwise prevent untrusted network access; replace or retire unsupported deployments where possible.

4

How can I identify potentially affected installations?

Check for Travisun Opptrix version 0.4.0 and the presence of the /api/system-update/import endpoint. Products affected by this issue are no longer supported by the maintainer.
