CVE-2026-12402: OTP Login & Register Woocommerce <= 2.7.3 - Authenticated (Administrator+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'fb-config' Setting
The OTP Login & Register Woocommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'fb-config' Setting in all versions up to, and including, 2.7.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. On multisite installations where administrators do not hold the unfilteredhtml capability, this vulnerability can be leveraged to target the network super administrator.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who can exploit this issue, and who is at risk from the injected script?
Exploitation requires an authenticated WordPress account with administrator-level access or higher. The injected script executes when a user visits a page containing the malicious content; on multisite installations, an administrator lacking unfiltered_html can use it to target the network super administrator.
Are installations running version 2.7.3 affected?
Yes. The issue affects all plugin versions up to and including 2.7.3.
What access and interaction are required for exploitation?
An attacker needs administrator-level authenticated access to set a malicious fb-config value. No additional user interaction is required from the attacker, but a user must access an injected page for the stored script to execute.
