Frequently Asked Questions
Which deployments are affected?
The issue affects Teldat Regesta Smart HD-PLC model TLDPH16D2 running firmware version 11.02.06.00.02. Exploitation requires network access to the device.
What access does an attacker need?
An attacker must be able to reach the device over the network and complete the required registration action. They can then inject a payload through the cmdcookie parameter on /upgrade/index.html.
What is a practical mitigation if an update is not immediately available?
The available information supports restricting network access to the device and limiting access to users who need to perform registration or use the upgrade interface. This reduces the opportunity to reach the affected endpoint.
