CVE-2026-46010: rxrpc: Fix error handling in rxgk_extract_token()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

rxrpc: Fix error handling in rxgkextracttoken()

Fix a missing bit of error handling in rxgkextracttoken(): in the event that rxgkdecryptskb() returns -ENOMEM, it should just return that rather than continuing on (for anything else, it generates an abort).

Affected Software

6 affected components
Linux Linux kernel
Linux Linux kernel>=6.16.9<6.17
Linux Linux kernel>=6.17.1<6.18.27
Linux Linux kernel>=6.19<7.0.4
Linux Linux kernel=6.17
Linux Linux kernel=6.17-rc7

Remediation

Recommended actions to resolve this vulnerability, in priority order.

  1. Configuration

    In rxgk_extract_token(), ensure that when rxgk_decrypt_skb() returns -ENOMEM, you propagate that return value directly (return -ENOMEM) rather than continuing on for other error handling that leads to an abort.

    Linux kernel rxrpc (rxgk_extract_token / rxgk_decrypt_skb) error handling return path = return -ENOMEM directly from rxgk_decrypt_skb() when it returns -ENOMEM (instead of continuing on into abort)
