CVE-2026-46205: staging: media: atomisp: Disallow all private IOCTLs

Updated

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

staging: media: atomisp: Disallow all private IOCTLs

Disallow all private IOCTLs. These aren't quite as safe as one could assume of IOCTL handlers; disable them for now. Instead of removing the code, return in the beginning of the function if cmd is non-zero in order to keep static checkers happy.

Upgrade to a fixed release to a version that resolves this vulnerability.

    Fixed in 6.6.141.1-1
  2. Configuration

In the staging media atomisp driver, disable all private IOCTL handlers by returning immediately at the beginning of the IOCTL function when cmd is non-zero.

Linux kernel staging: media: atomisp — private IOCTL handling = disallow all private IOCTLs (return at start of handler when cmd is non-zero)
