Remediation

Recommended actions to resolve this vulnerability, in priority order.

  1. Configuration

Modify the portal's token-issuance flow so that developer tokens are issued only after proper authentication and verification (for example, validated account login and confirmed email) and ensure tokens are bound to the authenticated identity.

Aqara Developer Portal (developer.aqara.com) developer token issuance / authentication = require authenticated and verified identity before issuing developer tokens
  2. Compensating control

Temporarily suspend or block issuance of new developer tokens (or restrict token issuance to known/trusted accounts) until the authentication/verification issue is fixed; enable enhanced logging and monitoring of token issuance and use to detect abuse.

  3. Operational

Revoke or invalidate any developer tokens that were issued without proper authentication, and rotate or replace any device or developer credentials that could have been impacted by those tokens.
