Frequently Asked Questions
Who can exploit this issue?
An attacker needs network access to the affected Helidon service over HTTP and low-level privileges. No user interaction is required.
Which deployment should be prioritized for remediation?
Deployments running the supported affected Helidon version 3.2.18 should be prioritized, particularly where low-privileged accounts can reach the HTTP service. The vulnerability may also significantly affect additional products because its scope can change beyond Helidon.
What is the potential impact if exploitation succeeds?
An attacker may gain unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to data accessible through Helidon. They may also be able to update, insert, or delete some Helidon-accessible data.
