CVE-2026-7767: URL Redirection to Untrusted Site ('Open Redirect') in GitLab
GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 13.11 before 19.2.8, 19.3 before 19.3.5, and 19.4 before 19.4.2 that, under certain conditions, could have allowed an authenticated user controlling a Kubernetes agent to cause sensitive authentication tokens to be sent to an unintended server due to improper redirect validation in the Kubernetes proxy.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is realistically exposed to this issue?
GitLab CE/EE instances in the affected version ranges are exposed where an authenticated user can control a Kubernetes agent and the conditions for Kubernetes proxy redirect handling are met. The issue concerns authentication tokens used through the Kubernetes proxy.
What access and interaction does an attacker need?
An attacker must be authenticated and able to control a Kubernetes agent. Exploitation also requires user interaction and depends on redirect validation conditions in the Kubernetes proxy.
Which versions contain the fix?
The issue is remediated in GitLab 19.2.8, 19.3.5, and 19.4.2. Affected ranges begin at 13.11 and include versions before those respective fixed releases.
