CVE-2026-92974: Photo Gallery by 10Web <= 1.8.46 - Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via 'thumb_url' Parameter
The Photo Gallery by 10Web – Mobile-Friendly Image Gallery plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'thumburl' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.8.46 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. Exploitation requires that the authenticated victim holds the manageoptions capability, as the editimagebwg AJAX action performs a capability check but no nonce verification, meaning the payload can be delivered via a crafted GET request without a CSRF token.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which users are at risk from a successful exploit?
The payload executes only when an authenticated victim with the WordPress manage_options capability is induced to make the crafted request. This typically limits direct impact to administrative users or other accounts granted that capability.
Does exploitation require attacker authentication or a CSRF token?
No. An unauthenticated attacker can deliver a crafted GET request, and the affected AJAX action does not verify a nonce. The attacker still needs to convince a manage_options-capable authenticated user to follow the malicious link or otherwise perform the request.
Which plugin versions are affected?
All Photo Gallery by 10Web versions through 1.8.46, including 1.8.46, are affected according to the available information.
