CVE-2026-93883: Advanced Classifieds & Directory Pro <= 3.4.4 - Authenticated (Custom+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'phone' Parameter
The Advanced Classifieds & Directory Pro plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'phone' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.4.4 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with custom-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This vulnerability is only exploitable on sites where the 'Force Bootstrap' miscellaneous setting (acadpmiscsettings['forcebootstrap']) is enabled and the 'ACADP Listing Address' widget is placed on a sidebar displayed on single listing pages; both conditions are non-default.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are sites using the plugin affected by default?
No. Exploitation requires both the non-default Force Bootstrap setting to be enabled and the ACADP Listing Address widget to be placed in a sidebar shown on single listing pages.
What access does an attacker need?
An attacker must be authenticated with custom-level access or higher. They can inject script through the phone parameter, which runs when a user views an affected listing page.
Who is exposed if the vulnerable configuration is present?
Users who access a single listing page where the injected content is displayed may have attacker-supplied scripts execute in their browser. The issue affects plugin versions through 3.4.4.
What can be changed if updating is not immediately possible?
Disable the Force Bootstrap setting or remove the ACADP Listing Address widget from sidebars displayed on single listing pages. Either change prevents the stated exploitation conditions.
