MAL-2026-18362: Malicious code in transaction-info-generate-sdk (npm)
--- -= Per source details. Do not edit below this line.=-
Source: amazon-inspector (043746546ca7cd9fc1679b0ee751cf12dc1938ba9f3b218dfbd090312f45a8ef) Package transaction-info-generate-sdk@0.0.0-stage ships a minimal file set (2 files) with no detected install/import-time side effects, no lifecycle scripts fetching remote content, no credential or environment scraping, no hardcoded exfiltration endpoints, and no obfuscated payloads. The version string and small file count are consistent with a placeholder or staging publish rather than a functional library. No behavior was observed that would harm an installer.
Source: ghsa-malware (d5fe42bc0080cd0fdffd00ddef7e675c9c53fee628f10547167f74e5f1104679) Any computer that has this package installed or running should be considered fully compromised. All secrets and keys stored on that computer should be rotated immediately from a different computer. The package should be removed, but as full control of the computer may have been given to an outside entity, there is no guarantee that removing the package will remove all malicious software resulting from installing it.
