Source: amazon-inspector (daf974d2b6e808204775e9ca87b873c9099e447c29af9ea50d1c1ef019c1f25c) The package ships minimal content (2 files scanned) with no lifecycle scripts, no install-time or import-time network activity, no credential or filesystem access targeting the installer, and no obfuscated or fetched-and-executed payload. The package name appears to be SEO/affiliate-style for a gambling site, which is a quality and registry-policy concern but not a supply-chain attack against installers.
Source: ghsa-malware (518f93179e5b8a2b525a979ccb9bdc48d54d13b1db353cb7af1fac5eacc84f99) Any computer that has this package installed or running should be considered fully compromised. All secrets and keys stored on that computer should be rotated immediately from a different computer. The package should be removed, but as full control of the computer may have been given to an outside entity, there is no guarantee that removing the package will remove all malicious software resulting from installing it.
