UBUNTU-CVE-2024-49910: Null Pointer Dereference
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: Add NULL check for function pointer in dcn401setoutputtransferfunc This commit adds a null check for the setoutputgamma function pointer in the dcn401setoutputtransferfunc function. Previously, setoutputgamma was being checked for null, but then it was being dereferenced without any null check. This could lead to a null pointer dereference if setoutputgamma is null. To fix this, we now ensure that setoutputgamma is not null before dereferencing it. We do this by adding a null check for setoutputgamma before the call to setoutputgamma.

Before calling set_output_gamma in dcn401_set_output_transfer_func, check that the function pointer is not NULL to prevent a null pointer dereference.
