ZDI-22-1125: (Pwn2Own) AVEVA Edge Uncontrolled Search Path Element Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of AVEVA Edge. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the handling of APP files. The process loads a library from an unsecured location. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process.
