Frequently Asked Questions
What does an attacker need to do to exploit this issue?
The attacker must get the target to visit a malicious page or open a malicious DWG file. Exploitation requires user interaction and does not occur solely from the attacker sending data to the target.
What access would successful exploitation provide?
Successful exploitation can execute arbitrary code in the context of the current process. The vulnerability can affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Which content should be treated as potentially malicious during triage?
DWG files are the relevant attack input because the flaw is in DWG parsing. Investigate whether users of affected installations opened untrusted DWG files or visited pages that may have caused such content to be processed.
