A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco Firepower Management Center (FMC) Software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the underlying operating system of an affected device. The vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending malicious commands to the web-based management interface of an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code on the underlying operating system of the affected device. Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability.
