When the user set the Notification's sender to send emails to the SMTP server via msmtp, an improper validated TLS/SSL certificates allows an attacker who can intercept network traffic between the SMTP client and server to execute a man-in-the-middle (MITM) attack, which may obtain the sensitive information of the SMTP.
Affected products and versions include: from ADM 4.1.0 through ADM 4.3.3.RKD2 as well as from ADM 5.0.0 through ADM 5.1.0.RN42.
When a user configures the NAS to retrieve UPS status or control the UPS, a non-enforced TLS certificate verification can allow an attacker able to intercept network traffic between the client and server can perform a man-in-the-middle (MITM) attack, which may obtain the sensitive information of the UPS server configuation.
This issue affects ADM: from 4.1.0 through 4.3.3.RKD2, from 5.0.0 through 5.1.0.RN42.
A format string vulnerability was found in the Notification OAuth settings of ADM. The vulnerability occurs because user-controlled notification configuration input may be processed through an unsafe format string operation. An authenticated administrator can exploit this issue to disclose memory information or cause denial of service of the affected component. Affected products and versions include: from ADM 4.1.0 through ADM 4.3.3.RUN1 as well as from ADM 5.0.0 through ADM 5.1.3.RI81.
A stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability vulnerability was found in the File Explorer and Text Editor of ADM. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to inject malicious scripts into the applications, which may then access cookies or other sensitive information retained by the browser and used with the affected applications. Affected products and versions include: from ADM 4.1.0 to ADM 4.3.3.RH61 as well as ADM 5.0.0.RIN1 and earlier, and Text Editor 1.0.0.r112 and earlier.
A stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the Access Control of ADM, the issue allows an attacker to inject malicious scripts into the folder name field while creating a new shared folder. These scripts are not properly sanitized and will be executed when the folder name is subsequently displayed in the user interface. This allows attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the context of another user's session, potentially accessing session cookies or other sensitive data. Affected products and versions include: from ADM 4.1.0 to ADM 4.3.3.RH61 as well as ADM 5.0.0.RIN1 and earlier.
The DDNS function uses an insecure HTTP connection or fails to validate the SSL/TLS certificate when querying an external server for the device's WAN IP address. An unauthenticated remote attacker can perform a Man-in-the-Middle (MitM) attack to spoof the response, leading the device to update its DDNS record with an incorrect IP address. Affected products and versions include: from ADM 4.1.0 through ADM 4.3.3.ROF1 as well as from ADM 5.0.0 through ADM 5.1.1.RCI1.
The API communication component fails to validate the SSL/TLS certificate when sending HTTPS requests to the server. An improper certificates validation vulnerability allows an unauthenticated remote attacker can perform a Man-in-the-Middle (MitM) attack to intercept the cleartext communication, potentially leading to the exposure of sensitive user information, including account emails, MD5 hashed passwords, and device serial numbers.
Affected products and versions include: from ADM 4.1.0 through ADM 4.3.3.ROF1 as well as from ADM 5.0.0 through ADM 5.1.1.RCI1.
The DDNS update function in ADM fails to properly validate the hostname of the DDNS server's TLS/SSL certificate. Although the connection uses HTTPS, an improper validated TLS/SSL certificates allows a remote attacker can intercept the communication to perform a Man-in-the-Middle (MitM) attack, which may obtain the sensitive information of DDNS updating process, including the user's account email, MD5 hashed password, and device serial number. This issue affects ADM: from 4.1.0 through 4.3.3.ROF1, from 5.0.0 through 5.1.1.RCI1.
When a specific function is enabled while joining a AD Domain from ADM, an improper input parameters validation vulnerability in a specific CGI program allowing an unauthenticated remote attacker to write arbitrary data to any file on the system. By exploiting this vulnerability, attackers can overwrite critical system files, leading to a complete system compromise. Affected products and versions include: from ADM 4.1.0 through ADM 4.3.3.ROF1 as well as from ADM 5.0.0 through ADM 5.1.1.RCI1.
