Android contains an unspecified vulnerability in the kernel that allows for remote code execution. This vulnerability resides in Linux Kernel and could impact other products, including but not limited to Android OS.
In eploopcheckproc of eventpoll.c, there is a possible way to corrupt memory due to a use after free. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.Product: AndroidVersions: Android kernelAndroid ID: A-204573007References: Upstream kernel
A flaw was found in the linux kernel, unixgc() assumes that candidate sockets can never gain an external reference (i.e. be installed into an fd) while the unixgclock is held. Except for MSGPEEK this is guaranteed by modifying inflight count under the unixgclock.
