A command injection vulnerability was found in the PPTP VPN Clients on the ADM. The vulnerability allows an administrative user to break out of the restricted web environment and execute arbitrary code on the underlying operating system. This occurs due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input before it is passed to a system shell. Successful exploitation allows an attacker to achieve Remote Code Execution (RCE) and fully compromise the system. Affected products and versions include: from ADM 4.1.0 through ADM 4.3.3.RR42 as well as from ADM 5.0.0 through ADM 5.1.2.REO1.

An HTTP header injection vulnerability in start-page-loader.cgi of ADM allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to read arbitrary files on the host system. By sending a crafted HTTP request with injected headers via the state parameter, the attacker can leverage the underlying web server's X-Sendfile mechanism to retrieve sensitive files without authentication. Affected products and versions include: from ADM 4.1.0 through ADM 4.3.3.RWC1 as well as from ADM 5.0.0 through ADM 5.1.4.RL21.

A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability was found inside ADM when using WebDAV due to the lack of data size validation. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to run arbitrary code. Affected ADM versions include: 3.5.9.RUE3 and below, 4.0.5.RVI1 and below as well as 4.1.0.RJD1 and below.

A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability was found in the VPN Clients on the ADM. The issue stems from the use of unbounded sscanf() and passing user-controlled data directly to printf(). Due to the lack of PIE and Stack Canary protections, an authenticated remote attacker can exploit these to execute arbitrary code as the web server user. Affected products and versions include: from ADM 4.1.0 through ADM 4.3.3.RR42 as well as from ADM 5.0.0 through ADM 5.1.2.REO1.

An improper Input Validation vulnerability allows injecting arbitrary values of the NAS configuration file in ASUSTOR ADM. This could potentially lead to system misconfiguration and break the format of the configuation file, causing the NAS to exhibit unexpected behavior. This issue affects ADM: from 4.1 before 4.3.1.R5A1.
