A security flaw has been discovered in D-Link DIR-825 up to 3.00b32. This impacts the function AddPortMapping of the file upnpsoap.c of the component miniupnpd. Performing a manipulation of the argument NewPortMappingDescription results in buffer overflow. The attack needs to be approached within the local network. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer.
A vulnerability was identified in D-Link DIR-825 3.00b32. This affects the function NMBDprocess of the file sserver.c of the component nmbd. Such manipulation leads to buffer overflow. The attack can only be initiated within the local network. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer.
A vulnerability was found in D-Link DIR-825 and DIR-825R 1.0.5/4.5.1. Affected is the function handlerupdatesystemtime of the file libdeuteronmodules.so of the component NTP Service. The manipulation results in os command injection. The attack may be launched remotely. This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer.
A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in D-Link DIR-825 2.10. This issue affects the function sub410DDC of the file switchlanguage.cgi of the component httpd. This vulnerability allows network-adjacent attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of D-Link DIR-825 1.0.9/EE routers. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the xupnpd service, which listens on TCP port 4044. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied string before using it to execute a system call. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the admin user. Was ZDI-CAN-19464.

UNSUPPORTED WHEN ASSIGNED Null Pointer Dereference vulnerability in D-Link DIR-825 2.10b02, which could let a remote malicious user cause a denial of service. The vulnerability could be triggered by sending an HTTP request with URL /vctwan; the sbin/httpd would invoke the strchr function and take NULL as a first argument, which finally leads to the segmentation fault. NOTE: The DIR-825 and all hardware revisions is considered End of Life and as such this issue will not be patched.
