A flaw was found in gin. This issue occurs when the default Formatter for the Logger middleware (LoggerConfig.Formatter), which is included in the Default engine, allows attackers to inject arbitrary log entries by manipulating the request path.
A flaw was found in Gin-Gonic Gin. This flaw allows a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions caused by improper input validation. An attacker can perform cache poisoning attacks by sending a specially-crafted request using the X-Forwarded-Prefix header.
Gin-Gonic Gin Web Framework is vulnerable to HTTP response splitting attacks. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary HTTP headers and cause the server to return a split response, once the URL is clicked. This would allow the attacker to perform further attacks, such as Web cache poisoning or cross-site scripting, and possibly obtain sensitive information.
Gin-Gonic Gin Web Framework could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by improper input validation by the filename parameter of the Context.FileAttachment function. By using a specially-crafted attachment file name, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to modify the Content-Disposition header.
