IBM QRadar 7.6.0.0 through 7.6.0.1, and 7.5.0 through 7.5.0 UP 15 Interim Fix 005 has an XML External Entity (XXE) injection vulnerability. The vulnerability resides in the parseXmlPayload() function within the event processing pipeline ( q1labscore.jar ). When at least one log source type is configured to use XML-format property autodetection, the system processes XML-formatted syslog events sent to port 514 (UDP/TCP) without authentication.
IBM QRadar 7.6.0.0 through 7.6.0.1, and 7.5.0 through 7.5.0 UP 15 Interim Fix 005 could allow an authenticated privileged user to execute arbitrary commands with normal user privileges on the system due to improper validation of user supplied input.
A flaw was found in the bash functionality that evaluates specially formatted environment variables passed to it from another environment. An attacker could use this feature to override or bypass restrictions to the environment to execute shell commands before restrictions have been applied. Certain services and applications allow remote unauthenticated attackers to provide environment variables, allowing them to exploit this issue.

IBM QRadar could allow an authenticated attacker to perform unauthorized actions due to improper input validation.
IBM QRadar 7.2 is vulnerable to cross-site scripting. This vulnerability allows users to embed arbitrary JavaScript code in the Web UI thus altering the intended functionality potentially leading to credentials disclosure within a trusted session. IBM Reference #: 1999534.
GNU Bash through 4.3 bash43-025 processes trailing strings after certain malformed function definitions in the values of environment variables, which allows remote attackers to write to files or possibly have unknown other impact via a crafted environment, as demonstrated by vectors involving the ForceCommand feature in OpenSSH sshd, the modcgi and modcgid modules in the Apache HTTP Server, scripts executed by unspecified DHCP clients, and other situations in which setting the environment occurs across a privilege boundary from Bash execution. NOTE: this vulnerability exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2014-6271.
The AutoUpdate package before 6.4 for IBM Security QRadar SIEM 7.2 MR1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary console commands by leveraging control of the server.
Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in IBM Security QRadar SIEM 7.2 MR1 and earlier allows remote attackers to hijack the authentication of administrators for requests that modify console Auto Update settings.
Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in IBM Security QRadar SIEM 7.2 MR1 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via a crafted URL.
The AutoUpdate process in IBM Security QRadar SIEM 7.2 MR1 and earlier does not verify X.509 certificates from SSL servers, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers via a crafted certificate.
Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in IBM Security QRadar SIEM 7.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via unspecified vectors.
