crypto: algifaead - Revert to operating out-of-place
A vulnerability identified in NetIQ Advance Authentication that leaks sensitive server information. This issue affects NetIQ Advance Authentication version before 6.3.5.1
Accessibility. A logic issue was addressed with improved checks.
A flaw was found in rsync. When using the --safe-links option, rsync fails to properly verify if a symbolic link destination contains another symbolic link within it. This results in a path traversal vulnerability, which may lead to arbitrary file write outside the desired directory.
A path traversal vulnerability exists in rsync. It stems from behavior enabled by the --inc-recursive option, a default-enabled option for many client options and can be enabled by the server even if not explicitly enabled by the client. When using the --inc-recursive option, a lack of proper symlink verification coupled with deduplication checks occurring on a per-file-list basis could allow a server to write files outside of the client's intended destination directory. A malicious server could write malicious files to arbitrary locations named after valid directories/paths on the client.
A flaw was found in rsync which could be triggered when rsync compares file checksums. This flaw allows an attacker to manipulate the checksum length (s2length) to cause a comparison between a checksum and uninitialized memory and leak one byte of uninitialized stack data at a time.
A security regression (CVE-2006-5051) was discovered in OpenSSH's server (sshd). There is a race condition which can lead sshd to handle some signals in an unsafe manner. An unauthenticated, remote attacker may be able to trigger it by failing to authenticate within a set time period.
A buffer overflow was discovered in the GNU C Library's dynamic loader ld.so while processing the GLIBCTUNABLES environment variable. This issue could allow a local attacker to use maliciously crafted GLIBCTUNABLES environment variables when launching binaries with SUID permission to execute code with elevated privileges.
A flaw was found in the way the "flags" member of the new pipe buffer structure was lacking proper initialization in copypagetoiterpipe and pushpipe functions in the Linux kernel and could thus contain stale values. An unprivileged local user could use this flaw to write to pages in the page cache backed by read only files and as such escalate their privileges on the system.
A vulnerability was found in cgroupreleaseagentwrite in kernel/cgroup/cgroup-v1.c in the Linux kernel. In this flaw, under certain circumstances, the cgroups v1 releaseagent feature can be used to escalate privilege and bypass namespace isolation unexpectedly.

A Local Privilege Escalation vulnerability (from any user to root) was found in polkit's pkexec, a SUID-root program that is installed by default on every major Linux distribution.
A crafted request uri-path can cause modproxy to forward the request to an origin server choosen by the remote user. This issue affects Apache HTTP Server 2.4.48 and earlier.
A vulnerability was found in WebKit. The flaw is triggered when processing maliciously crafted web content that may lead to arbitrary code execution. Improved memory handling addresses the multiple memory corruption issues.
apachemodphp. Multiple issues were addressed by updating to PHP version 7.3.11.
Apache HTTP Server, with MPM event, worker or prefork, code executing in less-privileged child processes or threads (including scripts executed by an in-process scripting interpreter) could execute code with the privileges of the parent process (usually root) by manipulating the scoreboard.

A vulnerability was discovered in Tomcat where if a servlet context was configured with readonly=false and HTTP PUT requests were allowed, an attacker could upload a JSP file to that context and achieve code execution.
Artifex Ghostscript allows -dSAFER bypass and remote command execution via .rsdparams type confusion with a "/OutputFile.
A race condition was found in the way Linux kernel's memory subsystem handled breakage of the read only private mappings COW situation on write access.
An unprivileged local user could use this flaw to gain write access to otherwise read only memory mappings and thus increase their privileges on the system.

The EPHEMERAL coder in ImageMagick before 6.9.3-10 and 7.x before 7.0.1-1 allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary files via a crafted image.
The (1) HTTP and (2) FTP coders in ImageMagick before 6.9.3-10 and 7.x before 7.0.1-1 allow remote attackers to conduct server-side request forgery (SSRF) attacks via a crafted image.
It was discovered that the RMI (Java Remote Method Invocation) server implementation in the JMX (Java Management Extensions) component of OpenJDK did not restrict which classes can be deserialized when deserializing authentication credentials. A remote unauthenticated attacker able to connect to a JMX port could possibly use this flaw trigger deserialization flaws.
Google Chromium V8 Engine contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability that allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service or possibly have another unspecified impact via crafted JavaScript code. This vulnerability could affect multiple web browsers that utilize Chromium, including, but not limited to, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Opera.
Oracle Java SE 6u105, 7u91 and 8u65 fixes an unspecified vulnerability in the Deployment component (CVE-2015-4902). Upstream has CVSSv2 scored this issue as: 5.0/AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N

Adobe Flash Player 18.x through 18.0.0.252 and 19.x through 19.0.0.207 on Windows and OS X and 11.x through 11.2.202.535 on Linux allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted SWF file, as exploited in the wild in October 2015.
Moxilla Firefox allows remote attackers to bypass the Same Origin Policy to read arbitrary files or gain privileges.
An unspecified flaw was found in the Libraries component in OpenJDK. ObjectInputStream's readSerialData() could, in certain cases, incorrectly perform deserialization of data from serialized input. An untrusted Java application or applet could use this flaw to bypass Java sandbox restrictions.
Use-after-free vulnerability in the ByteArray class in the ActionScript 3 (AS3) implementation in Adobe Flash Player 13.x through 13.0.0.296 and 14.x through 18.0.0.194 on Windows and OS X and 11.x through 11.2.202.468 on Linux allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via crafted Flash content that overrides a valueOf function, as exploited in the wild in July 2015.
Adobe Security Bulletin APSB15-14 for Adobe Flash Player describes a flaw that can possibly lead to code execution when Flash Player is used to play a specially crafted SWF file.
Quoting from the APSB15-14:
Adobe has released security updates for Adobe Flash Player for Windows, Macintosh and Linux. These updates address a critical vulnerability (CVE-2015-3113) that could potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system.
Adobe is aware of reports that CVE-2015-3113 is being actively exploited in the wild via limited, targeted attacks. Systems running Internet Explorer for Windows 7 and below, as well as Firefox on Windows XP, are known targets.
