SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP and ABAP Platform allow an attacker with high privileges to bypass missing security controls on an internal code path leading to operating system command execution. Successful exploitation could allow the attacker to execute OS-level commands that write to the operating system or stop the SAP system, resulting in no impact on confidentiality, low impact on integrity, and high impact on availability.
An OS Command Injection vulnerability exists in the SAP NetWeaver Application Server for ABAP and ABAP Platform that allows an authenticated attacker with administrative access to execute specially crafted shell commands on the server, bypassing the logging mechanism. This allows the execution of unintended OS commands without detection, potentially impacting the integrity and availability of the application, with no impact on confidentiality.
Due to missing authorization check, an authenticated attacker could call a remote-enabled function module which allows them to access data that they would otherwise not have access to. The attacker cannot modify data or impact the availability of the system.
Due to missing input validation and output encoding of untrusted data, SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP and ABAP Platform allows an unauthenticated attacker to inject malicious JavaScript code into the dynamically crafted web page. On successful exploitation the attacker can access or modify sensitive information with no impact on availability of the application
The ABAP Application Server of SAP NetWeaver as well as ABAP Platform allows an attacker to prevent legitimate users from accessing a service, either by crashing or flooding the service. This leads to a considerable impact on availability.
The IP filter in ABAP Platform and SAP Web Dispatcher - versions WEBDISP 7.85, 7.89, KERNEL 7.85, 7.89, 7.91, may be vulnerable by erroneous IP netmask handling. This may enable access to backend applications from unwanted sources.
Under some circumstances the SAML SSO implementation in the SAP NetWeaver (SAPBASIS versions 702, 730, 731, 740 and SAP ABAP Platform (SAPBASIS versions 750, 751, 752, 753, 754), allows an attacker to include invalidated data in the HTTP response header sent to a Web user, leading to HTTP Response Splitting vulnerability.
