Linux Kernel is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by a flaw in arch/powerpc/kernel/signal_32.c and arch/powerpc/kernel/signal_64.c when hardware transactional memory is disabled. By using a sigreturn() system call with crafted signal frame, a local attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause the system to crash.
