Adobe Bridge versions 10.1.1 (and earlier) and 11.0.1 (and earlier) are affected by an Out-of-bounds write vulnerability when parsing a crafted file. An unauthenticated attacker could leverage this vulnerability to achieve arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Adobe Bridge. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the processing of embedded fonts. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a write past the end of an allocated buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process.
