The 10Web Booster – Website speed optimization, Cache & Page Speed optimizer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 2.34.10 via the compressCustom function. This is due to missing file type validation and extension filtering on the pageid parameter, combined with a world-readable leaked nonce that bypasses authentication checks. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible. This exploit chain requires obtaining the plugin's REST nonce (tenwebiorest), which is automatically serialized to a world-readable file under wp-content/uploads/ whenever a bulk optimisation batch pauses; because the nonce is generated in a cron/loopback context with a user ID of 0, it is valid for unauthenticated visitors.
Contributor PHP Object Injection in 10Web Booster – Website speed optimization, Cache & Page Speed optimizer <= 2.33.6 versions.
The 10Web Booster – Website speed optimization, Cache & Page Speed optimizer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a limited file write via path traversal in versions up to, and including, 2.34.5 This is due to the OptimizerWebPageCache::getcachefiledir() function concatenating raw, unsanitized $GET parameter names and values into the on-disk cache path, and the cachecontent() sink calling mkdir() and fileputcontents() on the result with no realpath containment check — unlike the sibling deletepagecache(), which does perform one. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to create arbitrary directories (mode 0777, recursively) outside the cache root and write a cached page into them. The write is LIMITED: the filename is always 'source.html', so the extension is fixed, and the content is the rendered page buffer rather than attacker-supplied data. PHP files cannot be written and code execution is not possible; the demonstrated impact is cache poisoning and arbitrary directory creation.
The 10Web Booster – Website speed optimization, Cache & Page Speed optimizer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'author' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.34.8 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This is exploitable because a comment author Name value containing ' src=' and an event-handler payload contains no HTML tags or quote characters, allowing it to survive WordPress core's sanitizetextfield and land verbatim inside the alt attribute, where the plugin's own strreplace subsequently injects the single quote that breaks out of the attribute context.
The 10Web Booster WordPress plugin before 2.34.0 does not restrict access to the routine which issues the shared secret that authenticates its cloud connection, disclosing that secret to unauthenticated visitors and letting them delete it repeatedly, preventing an administrator from completing a legitimate connection.
