sqlselect.cc in MySQL 5.0.x before 5.0.32 and 5.1.x before 5.1.14 allows remote authenticated users to cause a denial of service (crash) via an EXPLAIN SELECT FROM on the INFORMATIONSCHEMA table, as originally demonstrated using ORDER BY.
Linux kernel does not properly save or restore EFLAGS during a context switch, or reset the flags when creating new threads, which allows local users to cause a denial of service (process crash), as demonstrated using a process that sets the Alignment Check flag (EFLAGS 0x40000), which triggers a SIGBUS in other processes that have an unaligned access.
fs/jfs/xattr.c in the Linux kernel before 2.6.35.2 does not properly handle a certain legacy format for storage of extended attributes, which might allow local users by bypass intended xattr namespace restrictions via an "os2." substring at the beginning of a name.
Description of problem: This problem was originally tracked down by Brad Spengler.
When calling wireless ioctls, if a driver does not correctly validate/shrink iwp->length, the resulting copytouser can leak up to 64K of kernel heap contents.
It seems that this is triggerable[1] in 2.6.32 at least on ath5k, but I was not able to track down how. The twisty maze of ioctl handlers stumped me. :) Other drivers I checked did not appear to have any problems, but the potential remains. I'm not sure if this patch is the right approach; it was fixed differently[2] in grsecurity.

Description of problem: The old shm interface allows unprivileged users to read uninitialized stack memory, because shmidds structure declared on the stack is not altered or zeroed before being copied back to the user.

The docoredump function in fs/exec.c in Linux kernel 2.4.x and 2.6.x up to 2.6.24-rc3, and possibly other versions, does not change the UID of a core dump file if it exists before a root process creates a core dump in the same location, which might allow local users to obtain sensitive information.
Integer underflow in the cpusettasksread function in the Linux kernel before 2.6.20.13, and 2.6.21.x before 2.6.21.4, when the cpuset filesystem is mounted, allows local users to obtain kernel memory contents by using a large offset when reading the /dev/cpuset/tasks file.
Buffer overflow in the utilpathencode function in udev/lib/libudev-util.c in udev before 1.4.1 allows local users to cause a denial of service (service outage) via vectors that trigger a call with crafted arguments.
