pngrtran.c in libpng before 1.0.29 and 1.2.x before 1.2.21 use (1) logical instead of bitwise operations and (2) incorrect comparisons, which might allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via a crafted PNG image.

The wordwrap function in PHP 4 before 4.4.8, and PHP 5 before 5.2.4, does not properly use the breakcharlen variable, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (divide-by-zero error and application crash, or infinite loop) via certain arguments, as demonstrated by a 'chr(0), 0, ""' argument set.

The date handling code in modules/proxy/proxyutil.c (modproxy) in Apache 2.3.0, when using a threaded MPM, allows remote origin servers to cause a denial of service (caching forward proxy process crash) via crafted date headers that trigger a buffer over-read.

Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in modstatus.c in the modstatus module in Apache HTTP Server (httpd), when ExtendedStatus is enabled and a public server-status page is used, allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via unspecified vectors involving charsets with browsers that perform "charset detection" when the content-type is not specified.

Apache httpd 1.3.37, 2.0.59, and 2.2.4 with the Prefork MPM module, allows local users to cause a denial of service by modifying the workerscore and processscore arrays to reference an arbitrary process ID, which is sent a SIGUSR1 signal from the master process, aka "SIGUSR1 killer."

The indecimal::set function in itemcmpfunc.cc in MySQL before 5.0.40, and 5.1 before 5.1.18-beta, allows context-dependent attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) via a crafted IF clause that results in a divide-by-zero error and a NULL pointer dereference.

+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #237680 +++

Quoting the PostgreSQL release notes: http://www.postgresql.org/docs/8.2/static/release-8-2-4.html

Support explicit placement of the temporary-table schema within searchpath, and disable searching it for functions and operators (Tom)

This is needed to allow a security-definer function to set a truly secure value of searchpath. Without it, an unprivileged SQL user can use temporary objects to execute code with the privileges of the security-definer function (CVE-2007-2138). See CREATE FUNCTION for more information.

This flaw also affects FC5 and FC7

A typo in Linux kernel 2.6 before 2.6.21-rc6 and 2.4 before 2.4.35 causes RTAMAX to be used as an array size instead of RTNMAX, which leads to an "out of bound access" by the (1) dnfibprops (dnfib.c, DECNet) and (2) fibprops (fibsemantics.c, IPv4) functions.
