The Cool Timeline (Horizontal & Vertical Timeline) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to, and including, 2.0.2. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the ctlsave() function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to save field icons via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.

Several WordPress plugins developed by Cool Plugins are vulnerable to arbitrary plugin installation and activation that can lead to remote code execution by authenticated attackers with minimal permissions, such as a subscriber.
