In phpMyAdmin 4 before 4.9.4 and 5 before 5.0.1, SQL injection exists in the user accounts page. A malicious user could inject custom SQL in place of their own username when creating queries to this page. An attacker must have a valid MySQL account to access the server.

In Apache Solr, the DataImportHandler, an optional but popular module to pull in data from databases and other sources, has a feature in which the whole DIH configuration can come from a request's "dataConfig" parameter. The debug mode of the DIH admin screen uses this to allow convenient debugging / development of a DIH config. Since a DIH config can contain scripts, this parameter is a security risk. Starting with version 8.2.0 of Solr, use of this parameter requires setting the Java System property "enable.dih.dataConfigParam" to true.
A flaw in the kernels implementation of ptrace which could inadvertantly grant elevated permissions to an attacker who could abuse the relationship between tracer and the process being traced.
The mechanism used to link the process requesting the ptrace and the process being ptraced could allow a local user to obtain root level priviledges by creating an opportunity to abuse the frequently used pattern of dropping privileges and then execve a child with reduced privileges/permissions.

File Content Disclosure in Action View
Impact ------ There is a possible file content disclosure vulnerability in Action View. Specially crafted accept headers in combination with calls to render file: can cause arbitrary files on the target server to be rendered, disclosing the file contents.
The impact is limited to calls to render which render file contents without a specified accept format. Impacted code in a controller looks something like this:

Rendering templates as opposed to files is not impacted by this vulnerability.
All users running an affected release should either upgrade or use one of the workarounds immediately.
Releases -------- The 6.0.0.beta3, 5.2.2.1, 5.1.6.2, 5.0.7.2, and 4.2.11.1 releases are available at the normal locations.
Workarounds ----------- This vulnerability can be mitigated by specifying a format for file rendering, like this:

In summary, impacted calls to render look like this:

The vulnerability can be mitigated by changing to this:

Google Chromium V8 Engine contains a memory corruption vulnerability that allows a remote attacker to execute code via a crafted HTML page. This vulnerability could affect multiple web browsers that utilize Chromium, including, but not limited to, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Opera.
A race condition was found in the way Linux kernel's memory subsystem handled breakage of the read only private mappings COW situation on write access.
An unprivileged local user could use this flaw to gain write access to otherwise read only memory mappings and thus increase their privileges on the system.

A vulnerability was found in ImageMagick. Insufficient filtering for filename passed to delegate's command allows remote code execution during conversion of several file formats.
ImageMagick allows to process files with external libraries. This feature is called 'delegate'. It is implemented as a system() with command string ('command') from the config file delegates.xml with actual value for different params (input/output filenames etc). Due to insufficient %M param filtering it is possible to conduct shell command injection. One of the default delegate's command is used to handle https requests:
"wget" -q -O "%o" "https:%M"
where %M is the actual link from the input. It is possible to pass the value like https://example.com"|ls "-la and execute unexpected 'ls -la'. (wget or curl should be installed).

Directory traversal vulnerability in Action View in Ruby on Rails allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files.
A missing bounds check was found in the way OpenSSL handled TLS heartbeat extension packets. This flaw could be used to reveal up to 64k of memory from a connected client or server.
Only 1.0.1 releases of OpenSSL are affected including 1.0.1f (and 1.0.2 betas)
