foomatic-rip filter v4.0.12 and prior used insecurely creates temporary files for storage of PostScript data by rendering the data when the debug mode was enabled. This flaw may be exploited by a local attacker to conduct symlink attacks by overwriting arbitrary files accessible with the privileges of the user running the foomatic-rip universal print filter.
A local file inclusion flaw was found in the way XML import plug-in of phpMyAdmin, a tool written in PHP intended to handle the administration of MySQL over the World Wide Web, performed import of malformed XML files. A remote attacker could provide a specially-crafted XML file, which once imported into the phpMyAdmin service instance would lead to arbitrary local file (accessible with the privileges of the phpMyAdmin user) read / retrieval.

It was found that in libpng, prior to 1.2.45, the error function received a NULL pointer, expressed erroneously as '\0', instead of the empty string "". This error was introduced in libpng-1.2.20, and pngdefaulterror() will crash in this case.
This was be fixed in libpng-1.5.4, libpng-1.4.8, libpng-1.2.45, and libpng-1.0.55.
Patch: http://libpng.git.sourceforge.net/git/gitweb.cgi?p=libpng/libpng;a=commitdiff;h=9dad5e37aef295b4ef8dea39392b652deebc9261
It was reported [1] that the fix for CVE-2004-0421 in libpng was inadvertently reverted during the 1.2.23 development cycle. The original flaw could be used to cause a denial of service via a carefully-crafted PNG image.
This would affect all versions of libpng >=1.2.23, including 1.4.x and 1.5.x.

Integer underflow in the dccpparseoptions function (net/dccp/options.c) in the Linux kernel before 2.6.33.14 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via a Datagram Congestion Control Protocol (DCCP) packet with an invalid feature options length, which triggers a buffer over-read.
jabberd2 before 2.2.14 does not properly detect recursion during entity expansion, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory and CPU consumption) via a crafted XML document containing a large number of nested entity references, a similar issue to CVE-2003-1564.
The vsffilenamepassesfilter function in ls.c in vsftpd before 2.3.3 allows remote authenticated users to cause a denial of service (CPU consumption and process slot exhaustion) via crafted glob expressions in STAT commands in multiple FTP sessions, a different vulnerability than CVE-2010-2632.
Multiple unspecified vulnerabilities in abcm2ps before 5.9.13 have unknown impact and attack vectors, a different issue than CVE-2010-3441.
Double free vulnerability in libxml2 2.7.8 and other versions, as used in Google Chrome before 8.0.552.215 and other products, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have unspecified other impact via vectors related to XPath handling.
OpenSSL before 0.9.8q, and 1.0.x before 1.0.0c, when SSLOPNETSCAPEREUSECIPHERCHANGEBUG is enabled, does not properly prevent modification of the ciphersuite in the session cache, which allows remote attackers to force the downgrade to an unintended cipher via vectors involving sniffing network traffic to discover a session identifier.
plymouth-pretrigger.sh in dracut and udev, when running on Fedora 13 and 14, sets weak permissions for the /dev/systty device file, which allows remote authenticated users to read terminal data from tty0 for local users.
Multiple use-after-free vulnerabilities in OpenTTD 1.0.x before 1.0.5 allow (1) remote attackers to cause a denial of service (invalid write and daemon crash) by abruptly disconnecting during transmission of the map from the server, related to network/networkserver.cpp; (2) remote attackers to cause a denial of service (invalid read and daemon crash) by abruptly disconnecting, related to network/networkserver.cpp; and (3) remote servers to cause a denial of service (invalid read and application crash) by forcing a disconnection during the join process, related to network/network.cpp.
Emmanuel Bouillon reported a memory corruption flaw in CUPS daemon. A specially-crafted IPP request can cause daemon to crash or, possibly, execute arbitrary code.

Abcm2ps upstream has released latest v5.9.13 version, fixing "yet more multiple unspecified vulnerabilities": [1] http://moinejf.free.fr/abcm2ps-5.txt
Current versions of abcm2ps package, present in Fedora release of 11, 12, and 13, are v5.9.5 based (and potentially vulnerable).
Please rebase to new version to overcome these.
Sauli Pahlman of CERT-FI provided us with fuzzed PDF file which causes xpdf / poppler PDF parser to crash.
The crash is caused by an attempt to dereference uninitialized Gfx::parser pointer in Gfx::getPos(), which assumes parser is either NULL or valid Parser pointer.

Marsh Ray of PhoneFactor has discovered a flaw in the TLS/SSL protocol related to the handling of the session rehandshakes / renegotiations. This flaw can possibly be used in the MITM attacks and allowing an attacker to inject attacker-chosen plain text prefix to the session of the victim.
Further details are available in the "Authentication Gap in TLS Renegotiation" blog post: http://extendedsubset.com/?p=8
Buffer overflow in the gdImageStringFTEx function in gdft.c in GD Graphics Library 2.0.33 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via a crafted string with a JIS encoded font.
