Fixed bug (Use-after-free in exif parsing under memory sanitizer). (CVE-2019-11050)
Fixed bug (Buffer underflow in bcshiftaddsub). (CVE-2019-11046)
A vulnerability was found in PHP versions 7.2.x below 7.2.26, 7.3.x below 7.3.13 and 7.4.0, PHP DirectoryIterator class accepts filenames with embedded \0 byte and treats them as terminating at that byte. This could lead to security vulnerabilities, e.g. in applications checking paths that the code is allowed to access.

A vulnerability was found in OpenSSL 1.0.2. When an application encounters a fatal protocol error and then calls SSLshutdown() twice, OpenSSL can respond differently to the calling application if a 0 byte record is received with invalid padding compared to if a 0 byte record is received with an invalid MAC. This difference in behaviour can be detected by a remote peer, then this amounts to a padding oracle that could be used to decrypt data. In order for this to be exploitable "non-stitched" ciphersuites must be in use. Also the application must call SSLshutdown() twice even if a protocol error has occurred (applications should not do this but some do anyway). AEAD ciphersuites are not impacted. This issue does not impact OpenSSL 1.1.1 or 1.1.0.

A flaw was found in HTTP/2. An attacker, sending a stream of header with a 0-length header name and a 0-length header value, could cause some implementations to allocate memory for these headers and keep the allocations alive until the session dies. The can consume excess memory, potentially leading to a denial of service. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability.
A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the WSC plugin through 5.5.7.5 for CKEditor 4 allows remote attackers to run arbitrary web script inside an IFRAME element by injecting a crafted HTML element into the editor.
KDE Okular before 1.10.0 allows code execution via an action link in a PDF document.
A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the HTML Data Processor for CKEditor 4.0 before 4.14 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script through a crafted "protected" comment (with the ckeprotected syntax).

The IMAP and LMTP components in Dovecot 2.3.9 before 2.3.9.3 mishandle snippet generation when many characters must be read to compute the snippet and a trailing > character exists. This causes a denial of service in which the recipient cannot read all of their messages.
Cacti 1.2.8 has stored XSS in datasources.php, colortemplatesitem.php, graphs.php, graphitems.php, lib/apiautomation.php, useradmin.php, and usergroupadmin.php, as demonstrated by the description parameter in datasources.php (a raw string from the database that is displayed by $header to trigger the XSS).
An issue was discovered in openfortivpn 1.11.0 when used with OpenSSL 1.0.2 or later. tunnel.c mishandles certificate validation because an X509checkhost negative error code is interpreted as a successful return value.
An issue was discovered in openfortivpn 1.11.0 when used with OpenSSL 1.0.2 or later. tunnel.c mishandles certificate validation because the hostname check operates on uninitialized memory. The outcome is that a valid certificate is never accepted (only a malformed certificate may be accepted).
Impact
A mutation XSS affects users calling bleach.clean with noscript and a raw tag (see below) in the allowed/whitelisted tags option.
Patches
v3.1.1
Workarounds
modify bleach.clean calls to not whitelist noscript and one or more of the following raw tags:
title textarea script style noembed noframes iframe xmp
A strong Content-Security-Policy without unsafe-inline and unsafe-eval script-srcs) will also help mitigate the risk.

GSocketClient in GNOME GLib through 2.62.4 may occasionally connect directly to a target address instead of connecting via a proxy server when configured to do so, because the proxyaddr field is mishandled. This bug is timing-dependent and may occur only sporadically depending on network delays. The greatest security relevance is in use cases where a proxy is used to help with privacy/anonymity, even though there is no technical barrier to a direct connection. NOTE: versions before 2.60 are unaffected.
