Chromium: CVE-2023-2136 Integer overflow in Skia

An unexpected message in the WebGPU IPC framework could lead to a use-after-free and exploitable sandbox escape. We have had reports of attacks in the wild abusing this flaw.

Google Chrome for Android UI contains a heap buffer overflow vulnerability that allows a remote attacker, who has compromised the renderer process, to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page.

Impact A memory corruption bug(Heap overflow) in the FreeType font rendering library.

This can be exploited by attackers to execute arbitrary code by using specially crafted fonts with embedded PNG images .
