A out-of-bounds write flaw was found in the xorg-x11-server. This issue occurs due to an incorrect calculation of a buffer offset when copying data stored in the heap in the XIChangeDeviceProperty function in Xi/xiproperty.c and in RRChangeOutputProperty function in randr/rrproperty.c, allowing for possible escalation of privileges or denial of service.
A flaw was found in PostgreSQL that allows authenticated database users to execute arbitrary code through missing overflow checks during SQL array value modification. This issue exists due to an integer overflow during array modification where a remote user can trigger the overflow by providing specially crafted data. This enables the execution of arbitrary code on the target system, allowing users to write arbitrary bytes to memory and extensively read the server's memory.
A flaw was found in PostgreSQL involving the pgcancelbackend role that signals background workers, including the logical replication launcher, autovacuum workers, and the autovacuum launcher. Successful exploitation requires a non-core extension with a less-resilient background worker and would affect that specific background worker only. This issue may allow a remote high privileged user to launch a denial of service (DoS) attack.
A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's fs/smb/client component can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation.
In case of an error in smb3fscontextparseparam, ctx->password was freed but the field was not set to NULL which could lead to double free.
We recommend upgrading past commit e6e43b8aa7cd3c3af686caf0c2e11819a886d705.
A flaw was found in the Netfilter subsystem of the Linux kernel. A race condition between IPSETCMDADD and IPSETCMDSWAP can lead to a kernel panic due to the invocation of ipsetput on a wrong set. This issue may allow a local user to crash the system.
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel through 6.5.9. During a race with SQ thread exit, an iouring/fdinfo.c iouringshowfdinfo NULL pointer dereference can occur.
A null pointer dereference vulnerability was found in dpllpinparentpinset() in drivers/dpll/dpllnetlink.c in Digital Phase Locked Loop (DPLL) subsystem in the Linux kernel, which could be exploited to trigger denial of service.
