GNU Libtasn1 before 4.19.0 has an ETYPEOK off-by-one array size check that affects asn1encodesimpleder.
GNU Libtasn1-4.13 libtasn1-4.13 version libtasn1-4.13, libtasn1-4.12 contains a DoS, specifically CPU usage will reach 100% when running asn1Paser against the POC due to an issue in asn1expandobjectid(ptree), after a long time, the program will be killed. This attack appears to be exploitable via parsing a crafted file.
Two errors in the "asn1findnode()" function (lib/parseraux.c) within GnuTLS libtasn1 version 4.10 can be exploited to cause a stacked-based buffer overflow by tricking a user into processing a specially crafted assignments file via the e.g. asn1Coding utility.
The asn1extractderoctet function in lib/decoding.c in GNU Libtasn1 before 4.8, when used without the ASN1DECODEFLAGSTRICTDER flag, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (infinite recursion) via a crafted certificate.
A heap-based buffer overflow flaw was found in the way the libtasn1 library decoded certain DER-encoded input. A specially crafted, DER-encoded input could cause an application using libtasn1 to perform an invalid read, causing the application to crash.

From http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/help-libtasn1/2015-03/msg00002.html:
GNU Libtasn1 is a standalone library written in C for manipulating ASN.1 objects including DER/BER encoding/decoding. GNU Libtasn1 is used by GnuTLS to handle X.509 structures and by GNU Shishi to handle Kerberos V5 structures.
Noteworthy changes in release 4.4 (released 2015-03-29) [stable] - Corrected a two-byte stack overflow in asn1derdecoding. Reported by Hanno Böck.
