A heap buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in thesmooth2() in cmsgamma.c in lcms2-2.16 which allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service. NOTE: the Supplier disputes this because "this is not exploitable as this function is never called on normal color management, is there only as a helper for low-level programming and investigation."
A heap buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in the lcms2-2.16. The vulnerability exists in the UnrollChunkyBytes function in cmspack.c, which is responsible for handling color space transformations. NOTE: this is disputed by the Supplier because the finding identified a bug in a third-party calling program, not in lcms.
Buffer overflow in the ReadEmbeddedTextTag function in src/cmsio1.c in Little cms color engine (aka lcms) before 1.16 allows attackers to have an unknown impact via vectors related to a length parameter inconsistency involving the contents of "the input file," a different vulnerability than CVE-2007-2741.
Integer signedness error in the cmsAllocGamma function in src/cmsgamma.c in Little cms color engine (aka lcms) before 1.17 allows attackers to have an unknown impact via a file containing a certain "number of entries" value, which is interpreted improperly, leading to an allocation of insufficient memory.
Directory traversal vulnerability in index.php in CMS little 0.0.1 allows remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary local files, and probably remote files, via a .. (dot dot) in the template parameter.
Directory traversal vulnerability in ls.php in LittleSite (aka LS or LittleSite.php) 0.1 allows remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary local files via a .. (dot dot) in the file parameter to index.php. NOTE: in some environments, this can be leveraged for remote file inclusion by using a UNC share pathname or an ftp, ftps, or ssh2.sftp URL.
DISPUTED tificc in Little CMS 2.9 has an out-of-bounds write in the PrecalculatedXFORM function in cmsxform.c in liblcms2.a via a crafted TIFF file. NOTE: Little CMS developers do consider this a vulnerability because the issue is based on an sample program using LIBTIFF and do not apply to the lcms2 library, lcms2 does not depends on LIBTIFF other than to build sample programs, and the issue cannot be reproduced on the lcms2 library.”.
DISPUTED tificc in Little CMS 2.9 has an out-of-bounds write in the cmsPipelineCheckAndRetreiveStages function in cmslut.c in liblcms2.a via a crafted TIFF file. An out-of-bounds read in cmstypes.c in TypeMLURead function was found, leading to heap memory leak triggered by crafted ICC profile.

Ibrahim El-Sayed discovered that Little CMS incorrectly handled certain files. An attacker could possibly use this issue to cause a denial of service. (CVE-2016-10165) Quang Nguyen discovered that Little CMS incorrectly handled certain files. An attacker could possibly use this issue to execute arbitrary code. (CVE-2018-16435)
