Vulnerability in the MySQL Connectors component of Oracle MySQL (subcomponent: Connector/Python). Supported versions that are affected are 8.0.13 and prior and 2.1.8 and prior. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via TLS to compromise MySQL Connectors. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all MySQL Connectors accessible data as well as unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all MySQL Connectors accessible data. CVSS 3.0 Base Score 8.1 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.0/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N).
It was discovered that the JAR (Java ARchive) verifier in the Security component of OpenJDK did not correctly handle files inside archives with missing digest. An attacker could possibly use this flaw to manipulate content of a singed JAR, bypassing intended verification.
It was discovered that the Hotspot component of OpenJDK did not properly check for integer overflows when generating range check loop predicates. An untrusted Java application or applet could use this flaw to corrupt JVM memory and cause it to crash or, possibly, execute arbitrary code, bypassing Java sandbox restrictions.
It was discovered that the Nashorn JavaScript engine in the Scripting component of OpenJDK could allow JavaScripts to access Java APIs even when access to Java APIs was disabled. An untrusted JavaScript executed by Nashorn could use this flaw to bypass intended restrictions.
Oracle Java SE 7u151 and 8u141 fixes an unspecified vulnerability in the JavaFX component (CVE-2017-10114). Upstream has CVSS scored this issue as: 8.3/CVSS:3.0/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H

A covert timing channel flaw was found in the DSA implementation in the JCE component of OpenJDK. A remote attacker able to make a Java application generate DSA signatures on demand could possibly use this flaw to extract certain information about the used key via a timing side channel.
Note that the fix for this issue reverts the fix for CVE-2016-5548 (see bug 1413920) and uses different approach to implement blinding of the DSA operations.
It was discovered that the LDAPCertStore class in the Security component of OpenJDK followed LDAP referrals to arbitrary URLs. A specially-crafted LDAP referral URL could cause LDAPCertStore to communicate with non-LDAP servers.
A covert timing channel flaw was found in the ECDSA implementation in the JCE component of OpenJDK. A remote attacker able to make a Java application generate ECDSA signatures on demand could possibly use this flaw to extract certain information about the used key via a timing side channel.
Vulnerability in the Java SE component of Oracle Java SE (subcomponent: Deployment). Supported versions that are affected are Java SE: 7u141 and 8u131. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows physical access to compromise Java SE. While the vulnerability is in Java SE, attacks may significantly impact additional products. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Java SE. Note: Applies to deployment of Java where the Java Auto Update is enabled. CVSS 3.0 Base Score 7.1 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.0/AV:P/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H).
It was discovered that the Elliptic Curve (EC) cryptography implementation in the Security component of OpenJDK did not perform computations for certain points correctly. An attacker able to interact with a Java application using EC cryptography could possibly use this flaw to obtain information about the used key.
Oracle Java SE 8u151 and 9.0.1 fixes an unspecified vulnerability in the Deployment component (CVE-2017-10309). Upstream has CVSS scored this issue as: 7.1/CVSS:3.0/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:L

It was discovered that the Kerberos client implementation in the Libraries component of OpenJDK used the sname field from the plain text part rather than encrypted part of the KDC reply. A man-in-the-middle attacker could possibly use this flaw to impersonate Kerberos services to Java applications acting as Kerberos clients.

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Oracle Java Runtime Environment. Interaction with the JavaFX library is required to exploit this vulnerability but attack vectors may vary depending on the implementation. The specific flaw exists within the rendering of HTML in JavaFX. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in a write past the end of an allocated data structure. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process.
Server or client applications that call the SSLcheckchain() function during or after a TLS 1.3 handshake may crash due to a NULL pointer dereference as a result of incorrect handling of the "signaturealgorithmscert" TLS extension. The crash occurs if an invalid or unrecognised signature algorithm is received from the peer. This could be exploited by a malicious peer in a Denial of Service attack. OpenSSL version 1.1.1d, 1.1.1e, and 1.1.1f are affected by this issue. This issue did not affect OpenSSL versions prior to 1.1.1d. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1g (Affected 1.1.1d-1.1.1f).
GNOME libxml2 is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking by the xmlEncodeEntitiesInternal function in libxml2/entities.c. By persuading a victim to open a specially-crafted file, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system.
